The truth of your being is not your polished words. It erupts from your core. It is not linear, it is chaotic. It is not designed to keep you comfortable. It breaks the structures you were living in. Your truth is messy, it’s organic. It doesn’t follow rules, and it doesn’t have to make sense. This is the raw and vulnerable Feminine that has been suppressed over centuries. Your truth breaks the mold, it doesn’t try to fit in. It feels alive because it is alive. It risks. Everything. For the sake of being heard. It roars, not speaks politely. If you’re looking for a way that is pre-paved, you’re going to be looking for a long time. Your truth is like a walk in the wilderness. It is hidden in plain sight, you have to cut away foliage, risk your next step into the unknown, and hope for the best. Because you will never know. Otherwise it wouldn’t be worth it. It wouldn’t be alive. It is the very act of creating it that makes it alive.
There is a big element of surrender to it. I had to figure out surrender for a long time. I didn’t understand it. I wanted controlled surrender. A form of surrender where I would be in charge. Of course that’s not going to work. Surrender is soft, hopeful, trusting. It doesn’t know, and it knows. It is like the holy cow. Grounded, nurturing, soft. It feeds the soul and the soul feeds it in return. It is a beautiful symbiosis of becoming. A holy cry for the Creator. A declaration that I can’t do it on my own, and I need Soul. The cosmic current of creation. Let the river carry you, to the next shore, where you can feed and drink real sustenance. One that nourishes your soul. Truth doesn’t move linearly. It moves diagonally and breaks the field. It surprises and shocks and leaves everything changed. Nothing is as before. A beautiful mess from the womb of Creation. If you think your truth follows a plan, unlikely. If you think your truth is going to get approval, very unlikely. If you wait for the right moment, you are going to wait for a long time. Because it is you who creates it. In accordance with your level of surrender, Your readiness. Your truth is most likely going to be uncomfortable. It is going to require your work. It is going to require you to change. It’s birthed from the depths of your soul. There is no predicting. Do you know what the baby is going to look like that you are about to birth? No. The same goes for your truth. It arises spontaneously in the moment. And it might hurt.
Truth requires discipline. It requires openness and the motivation to change. It requires you to stand in the fire, even if it comes with loss. There is no control with the truth. You have to allow it. Create the conditions for it to arise. Do the inner work, so you are strong enough and willing enough to be brave. And let it speak through you. No truth is pretty. But it’s real. In a world that is increasingly artificial, this is what we need. Real people speaking real truth. Even in the face of adversity. Even when risking isolation. Because the soul is true, and it will stay alive through the resonance of truth. That is enough to sustain it. No threat can be big enough. You’ve got to be willing to die for the truth, I believe. Otherwise you don’t want it enough. Even if that means your ego death. The death of who you thought you were, to let your true soul’s song arise. This is what it means to be alive. Unprepared, authentic, wild. Can you let the wild song sing through the melody that is your soul? Are you willing to risk it all, to stand once more face to face with the Creator.
